SMHL Vimetco commenced reconstruction and rehabilitation of its Slipway and mud dock facilities in its loading port of Nitti 2. At completion of the reconstruction work the slipway will provide the necessary platform to slip its river fleet (push boats and barges) in order to carry out necessary preventative maintenance program. This will enhance the operational efficiency and availability of its own river fleet to be engaged in the transhipment operations for Vimetco.
