SMHL Vimetco commenced reconstruction and rehabilitation of sections of haulage road within the concession. The reconstruction design of the proposed rehabilitation of road is in accordance to the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) 1999 standard. A total stretch of 25 kilometres of road section is being rehabilitated. This will enhance the road safety standard, stability and guaranty uninterrupted haulage operations throughout the season
