During 8th International Conference & Exhibition of IBAAS-GAMI 2019, which took place in Guiyang, China from 04th – 08th September 2019, Sierra Mineral Holdings I Limited (SMHL) represented by its Operations Director and Acting General Manager Mr. Basudeb Datta together with Guiyang Aluminum & Magnesium Design Institute Co., Ltd. (GAMI) have signed a letter of intent to carry out a bankable feasibility study for a 200,000 tpa Alumina Hydrate Production Plant in Sierra Leone, West Africa.
The official contract is scheduled to be signed in the middle of October and work is expected to commence in the beginning of November 2019. The bankable feasibility study is targeted to be completed within 6 month from the commencement date. GAMI delegation which consists of internationally recognized alumina technologists, process engineers and technicians will embark on the first technical site visit in early November 2019.
