Sierra Mineral Holdings I Limited (SMHL) remains committed to ensure local community development as one of the top priorities of its sustainable business plan. SMHL committed through its Community Development Projects plan to construct a fully furnished 100 bed hospital within Moyamba district (Ngolala village, Upper Banta, Chiefdom). This hospital project is fully funded by SMHL and construction is at an advance stage. It is fitted with modern facilities including Intensive Care Unit, Special Maternity Unit, Mortuary, Medical store, Physiotherapy, Medical laboratory, General Hospital, Cafeteria, Laundry and Admin blocks  etc. The hospital is expected to be completed within the next one year. This hospital will not only serve the local community but also will be have significant impact on the overall health medical infrastructure of the nation.
