Mr Turay holds a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Geology from the University of Sierra Leone.  Professional development in Post Graduate Advanced Courses for Personnel in the Mining Industry – University of Mines and Technology, Ghana – 2019 – 2021. An experienced geologist who has extensively worked with bauxite bulk commodities for the entire period of his industrial mining profession.  A Mine Manager as certified by the Sierra Leone Professional Engineering Regulation Council (PERC) since 2018. 

Mr Turay has worked as an environmental, health and safety professional since 2013.    He currently heads the Environment, Health and Safety department, providing leadership in monitoring and controlling the impact of mining operations on the environment, health, and safety of employees and host communities.
